Erin Cusenbary (SMH ’10) SCAC Character & Community Female Athlete of the Week

Erin Cusenbary, a volleyball standout from the Saint Mary’s Hall class of 2010, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference’s Character & Community Female Athlete of the week for the week ending September 21. The award recognizes¬† student-athletes who excel in the field of athletics and also serve their campus and community.

Cusenbary (pictured above on the right with her SMH teammates), now a senior captain playing middle blocker for Trinity University, was honored for her service to numerous campus organizations, including the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, Alpha Chi Lambda sorority, and the Golden Key Honor Society.

At Saint Mary’s Hall, she was named to the All-Zone and All-SPC volleyball teams in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She was captain of the 2010 Lady Barons squad.
