Kinkaid senior golfer Cole Hammer competed in the American Junior Golf Associations’s Junior President’s Cup on September 24-26, 2017. Hammer joined a team of twelve of the USA’s best junior golfers who defeated a team of twelve international junior golfers by a score of 14 to 10.

The tournament, held days before the President’s Cup, was composed of two four-ball matches and a singles match for each player. Hammer and his partner Noah Godwin halved the morning four-ball with South Africa’s Garrick Higgo and Rayhan Thomas of India. In the afternoon four-ball, Hammer and Godwin defeated Higgo and Thomas, 4 & 3. Hammer dropped his singles match to South Africa’s Christo Lamprecht, 3 & 1.

Congratulations to Cole for representing Kinkaid, the SPC, and the USA so well!
